Google Sheets: #NAME?

Why did I see this error?

There are two reasons:
A. Websheet AI is not installed
B. Google Sheet bug

Below are instructions for both cases.

A. Installing Websheet AI

To stop seeing #NAME? issue—install websheet AI

1. Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons

Find the Extension menu point at the top and launh Manage add-ons menu

This will open the add-ons menu

2. Find Websheet AI

In the add-ons menu, write “Websheet” to the search box

3. Click on the Websheet AI

Open Websheet AI page to install it

4. Install Websheet AI

Click on the install button, agree with all permissions because they are needed for work, and close the window

5. Refresh the page

Refresh (Crtl / ⌘ + F5) the browser tab to ensure that everything is fine

6. Extensions → Websheet AI → Start

Start the Websheet AI extension

B. Handling Google Sheet bug

If the Websheet AI is installed, but you still see the #NAME? error, then follow the instruction below

1. Replace _X to _Y at the end of the Smart Formula

Each Smart Formula has _X or _Y at the end. To fix the formulas, replace _X with _Y or _Y with _X.

For example, convert =ASK_X(...) into =ASK_Y(...)

2. If this doesn't help, re-add the Extension
